Crosstalk between Nutrient Signalling Pathways and Immune Responses in Rice

چکیده

Rice is a staple food for more than half of the global population. production is, however, severely affected by biotic and abiotic stresses. Fertilisers pesticides are widely used in rice farming to maintain optimal yield prevent losses caused environmental stress. However, indiscriminate use agrochemicals has adverse effects on environment human health. Stress nutrient excess or deficiency an impact plant disease resistance. The interference responses induced stress can result positive negative resistance pathogen infection. In this review, we explore combined stresses rice, focusing stress, such as nitrogen phosphorous supply, infection fungal Magnaporthe oryzae, causal agent blast disease. Crosstalk between stress-induced pathogen-induced signalling pathways discussed, well, with particular emphasis regulatory microRNAs. Understanding interconnected regulations will lay foundation rationally optimising fertiliser pesticide production.

RD26 mediates crosstalk between drought and brassinosteroid signalling pathways

Brassinosteroids (BRs) regulate plant growth and stress responses via the BES1/BZR1 family of transcription factors, which regulate the expression of thousands of downstream genes. BRs are involved in the response to drought, however the mechanistic understanding of interactions between BR signalling and drought response remains to be established. Here we show that transcription factor RD26 med...

Signalling crosstalk in light stress and immune reactions in plants.

The evolutionary history of plants is tightly connected with the evolution of microbial pathogens and herbivores, which use photosynthetic end products as a source of life. In these interactions, plants, as the stationary party, have evolved sophisticated mechanisms to sense, signal and respond to the presence of external stress agents. Chloroplasts are metabolically versatile organelles that c...

Crosstalk between p53 and TGF-β Signalling

Wild-type p53 and TGF-β are key tumour suppressors which regulate an array of cellular responses. TGF-β signals in part via the Smad signal transduction pathway. Wild-type p53 and Smads physically interact and coordinately induce transcription of a number of key tumour suppressive genes. Conversely mutant p53 generally subverts tumour suppressive TGF-β responses, diminishing transcriptional act...

The crosstalk between autophagic and endo-/exosomal pathways in antigen processing for MHC presentation in anticancer T cell immune responses

T cells recognize antigen fragments from proteolytic products that are presented to them in the form of peptides on major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules, which is crucial for the T cell to identify infected or transformed cells. Autophagy, a process that delivers cytoplasmic constituents for lysosomal degradation, has been observed to provide a substantial source of intra- and extra...
